Opioid Addiction Treatment Center
Get Clean. Stay Clean.
About the Hopewood RAAM Clinics
As an addiction treatment center, we specialize in treating drug addictions to opiates and opioids such as heroin, morphine, oxycodone, codeine and fentanyl. Our suboxone and methadone clinics are full-service clinics including an on-site pharmacy.
As a RAAM Clinic new patients can walk in during clinic hours for each location to be seen and start their recovery. Doctor appointments are managed with a combination of in-person and telemedicine visits to ensure the best coverage and availability for all of our clients.
At Hopewood, we care about your recovery and create an individualized plan to help support your success!
FAQs
If I transfer to Hopewood will I lose my carries?
No – when you transfer to our addiction treatment center, we will confirm your current dose and carry status and you will be continued at the same dose and carry status as you were at your previous clinic.
Do I need a referral to start treatment?
Will my family doctor know I'm here?
No – your privacy is assured and can be reviewed at our privacy policy. We encourage you to discuss your situation with your family physician and to keep them involved; however, this is your decision alone.
Do I have to come every day?
What if I am pregnant?
I'm involved with CAS – will they have access to my results?
Will I see an actual doctor?
Yes! Our addiction treatment center uses a combination of tele-medicine and in-person visits. Our goal is to have the doctor present in each clinic at least one full day per week so that in-person appointments can be made. However, we know that people's lives are busy so we also use tele-medicine to offer more appointment days to our clients.
Do we offer addictions counselling?
All clinic locations of our addiction treatment center are in the process of engaging an experienced counsellor to meet with clients in a 1 on 1 setting. Studies clearly show that methadone or suboxone treatment works better when combined with addiction counselling.
What does it cost?
Starting addiction treatment with methadone or suboxone is easy and can usually be done the same day. All you need is a valid OHIP card and all clinic visit costs are covered.
Transfer to Hopewood
Transfer to Hopewood at the same dose and carry status from any other program or clinic. Simply bring your valid OHIP card with you and we will take care of the rest.
